I have been celibate since 1993. After I was downsized from AT&T after 23 years, I started my own consulting firm with 10 other former AT&T employees. I decided to forego active dating while we were establishing the business. Once we had gotten the firm off the ground, I decided to continue my non-dating practice in order to grow the business further. After 3 years, internal disputes among the partners broke the company up. Along with 3 of my partners, we decided to keep the business open, but after about 6 months we came to the conclusion that the 4 of us could not service existing clients and add new ones. So after a little over 4 years I reentered the dating arena. friends tried to help by introducing me and setting me up with ladies. I, also, joined several Singles Clubs. After a little over a year I decided to take a short hiatus from dating. To my great surprise this hiatus lasted until late 2010; when I decided that I was tired of being without a special lady in my life. It took me until February 2011 to decide to actually do something about it. Again friends began to introduce me to eligible women; plus I joined several on-line dating services. As of this date I have yet to find that special lady, but being ever the optimist I will continue my search!
