The key to great video/photo is proper lighting on your subject i.e. my hole. I usually have a halogen desk light placed about 1 foot or so away, and also more in front of the camera. The camera is just your average sub $200 digital camera that is about 5 years old or so. I also setup the shot and zoom in properly and do a test video before I actually shit and get in the same position, don't move the camera etc. Just some simple things you can do if you want to make a better quality video even with a low budget camera.
