I appreciate my feeling of, identifying with, being Masterhearted, but need to find my own way of interpreting what that means to me and eventually what it means for someone else.

Profiles are never right, they are like describing a rainbow with only sounds, or taste with flashcards.
The following profile is not right, extensive nor thorough enough, is a work in progress in need of work, However it heads in the right direction, so will have to stand for the timebeing...

...I identify with being a daddy Dom but without the connotations of age or family play (in which I have no real interest nor indeed like the inferences) - but still with the nurturing, guiding hand, protecting and uplifting you, correcting and disciplining you, arms that envelope, embrace and control.
I simply see no need for the "Daddy'ness" of it (yet think it's more than a "50's" household thing).

For me I suggest, Paladin. A Dominant Paladin.

But there is no Paladin label, and labels are just that, and so a daddy Dom is perhaps the closest there is.

And if I have to work with that then Cher Hatton's wonderful description espouses my thinking better than anything, which if I horribly paraphrase and summarise her, is that it's a form of D/s that has some of the fundamental characteristics, and indeed needs, that all patriarchal dominants seem to share universally:

He is her Number One Fan, believing in his girl more than she herself does, and often uses the wisdom of his age to see her not only for who she is, but also for who she can become.
He is also her ultimate Confidant, allowing her to bare her soul to him beyond all others.
He is the Protector of his girl, her Teacher and mentor. He is her Guide and advisor, her Anchor. And not forgetting … her Disciplinarian.

So I seek to be the wind beneath someone's wings, their rock, their knight in rusty armour (for I've been through too many battles to be shiny anymore).
That someone... will have intelligence and be articulate, be independent without being wilful, can be bratty within reason and appreciating the true order, have a mind open to many things outside of BDSM, such as a wide variety of music, art, film, travel, intellectual discourse, reading…
But they will also… be mine. Body, Mind, Soul.

It's a reality however that no matter how much our minds might align, so must our sensuality and sexuality - those are bedrocks of a fully intimate relationship and to pretend otherwise is to court eventual despair.

So in terms of BSDM, sensuality and sexuality, what that someone would like in me is a reflection of what I'd look for in her...
