Reason and that which is rational is better and will always triumph (at least in the long run) over idiot passion, prejudice, greed, and fideism.
Let us say, for the sake of argument, that there is a God in this universe and that now and again, said God is mindful of our existence. This awareness pleases said God and God loves us. Our experience of this love is what it feels like to know Justice.
Do not celebrate negative things. Do not make a commodity of suffering. Do not revel in faux melancholy. Be bright and true. This doesn't mean that you can't drape yourself in black! :)
Read a book. Remember it.
Love your city, and take care of it. Our cities are the foundation of our CIVIlization and our civilization is our pathway to god-hood.

I work in the video-gaming industry generating 3d art assets. I lost my job. Being unemployed sucks.
I am a martial artist but on hiatus until I reestablish a reliable source of income.
Worlds spin out of my head. The outward manifestation of this is that I seem to enjoy speaking of abstract and or fantastical things more than "real" things. I use a fair number of buck-fifty words and uhhh, stuff. Science fiction and fantasy, as ideas, are wayyy cool.
Finally, perverse fate as placed me in a position wherein I am involved in the running and promotion of "parties", public and private that people who I do not necessarily know, attend. I am in the "party business" and it takes up a fair amount of my time. Closely related to this semi-recent state of affairs is the fact that I am a honest-to-goodness "club DJ". My DJ name is "Mariu5" rather than Marius although I can't hardly think about that without feeling silly. :) Life is really weird sometimes. Oh twisting fortune, thou art a whirlwind...
